Robertson Consulting offers training for drillers and shot firers to what ever level is required, whether it is to national certificate level, or to a level acceptable for site duties only.

Driller training :

Normally Robertson Consulting is requested to assess current drillers to give the client an indication of their standard. After assessment, re training is carried out as required to make drillers more proficient in the use of their drill rigs. This in itself helps raise availability and increase penetration rates. After the drillers have had a few months to gain experience, it is normal to return to site to "fine tune "the drillers to ensure that they are utilising their drilling rigs to the maximum.

We also carry out assessing and certifying of drillers in conjunction with Atlas Copco

Blast crew training:

Robertson Consulting can train your blast crew to National certificate standard. Normally, once shot firers are trained, the main thing then is to ensure that there are good practical procedures in place to ensure that the blasting operation is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.

Excavator operator training;

Our consultants can train operators how to use excavators up to 90 tonnes. Over 90 tonnes, we do not train operators as they should already have experience on smaller machines. What we do with operators on larger machines is to assess them and suggest ways of improving their utilisation.
